Theft Description

Vehicle stolen approximately 15:40 on 10/1/24 from workplace. Private industrial estate in Biggin Hill Kent by a group of kids approximately 14/15. Steering lock was on but bike was not chained up.

Recovery Description

After posting on multiple facebook groups I had a message saying it was spotted at 6PM (A little over 2hrs after the theft) parked suspiciously under a silver oxford cover. The person who found it uncovered it and saw the damage. the thieves returned, said it was theirs and then pushed it away. Police were called. And the incident was reported I recieved this message at around 10PM saying it was last seen being pushed away which said to me it wasnt running or hotwired. I went out looking for it in the last known location pressing my key fob. Saw a Silver oxford cover on a bike 2 minute walk from last sighting and it was my bike. Police were called again, never turned up in the 2 hours i was waiting for AA to recover it. Had they shown up to look for it after the first sighting it would have been found sooner and i wouldnt have had to do their job for them. These locations were 2 miles from where it was stolen. Front fairing had been ripped off from the sides, 2 bolts had been removed that secured the petrol tank. And the wires going to the fuel pump and level sensor have been ripped out. Thieves still walking around scott free. Hopefully the CCTV given to police will help stop them but i doubt it.
