Bike Description

Missing left handlebar end, light rust patches on the front forks, sprayed over scratches along exhaust from coming off, paint work scratches on foot plates and front brake lever. Rusting on the rear suspension springs. Essentially looks like it's been about for 20 years when really it's been 2. Sea air isn't kind to Chinese metal.

Theft Description

Bike was lifted, locks and all, over a small side fence and into a van. As far as I can tell. Was parked up behind parents car, multiple locks, chain and front disk. I woke up at 4am, leaving for work at 5am and saw there was no bike, no locks, no oil spot. Bike was last seen at 7pm the previous night when putting rubbish in our bins.

Recovery Description

I just received a phone call from the police. It was recovered in the early hours of this morning. All in all, bike had been gone for about 24 hours. The people "possibly" responsible have also been detained for the time being.
