Theft Description

Hi, So this may be an odd one and you guys probably wont be able to assist me with my issue but i thought it was worth a try. So roughly just under 1 month ago on the 10/11/2019 between the hours of 11:30 and 17:00 I had my Registration Plate stolen from my bike while I was at work which i have reported to the police and taken all the necessary steps I believe need to be taken. I have tried to get some camera footage from across the road but the police aren't able to provide a memory stick to hold the footage on and the length of time is too great for them to look at the footage and I don't have a 15 minute window for them to look at as I can't guarantee a specific time it was stolen! I have had 2 Penalty charges come through to me now 1 of which was done on the same day of my Plate being stolen!! I have yet to take time out and change my plans in order to report back to the police with yet another charge which obviously is the right thing to do so they can see i'm keeping them updated. All is well keeping the police updated but its still not helping me prevent further charges occurring in my name and going on my record which is effecting my work and personal life as I have unnecessary worry and stress about what they're going to do next. I believe my Reg Plate is on what looks to be either a black or dark coloured moped/scooter by what i can make out but the pictures on the penalty charges where early evening so light wasn't on my side on that one. If you guys could help out at all in any way or even suggest something that may help me get my plate back I would be most grateful other than me trying to keep a look out myself and waiting for more charges to come through my door. I just don't want to end up being the one on the wrong side of the law if I see my plate and get in trouble for taking it back although I have replaced my plate for a new one i'm not going to be to fussed about it being broken and unusable as long as it stops any further problems for me i'm happy. Many Thanks Steph
