Recovery Description

Only got the phone call on the 22nd June 2020 to say that it was recovered as the cops were chasing the thief for a different offence (so essentially a coincidence) but as they were evading they went to their house. The didn't catch the thief's but were able to find out my bike which matched the description I mentioned. Do check nearby/surrounding areas if it gets stolen as thief are indeed thick as **** . (Unless they're a syndicate) Apparently where they found it was like under 10 minutes from where I reported the incident . Also note if it is stolen in a nearby /at a train station double check what their protocols of retrieving CCTV; in my case, they couldn't give me the CCTV footage because a). GDPR restrictions and b). because of the time frame (I reported the incident around the evening - and they complained that the time I left it at the station to when I reported was "....was too wide" to assess it themselves.
