After listing the bike for sale on Facebook marketplace, I arranged with a profile to come and look at the bike on the 8th March. I gave them a general location and was going to meet them up the road and away from my address. However they never showed up. They then said they would come the next morning. That night my garden was broken into and cameras disconnected and the bike was stolen. It was chained up and under a bike cover and not obvious to be there as the garden has a 7ft wall around it. They clearly knew what they were looking for and had scouted the area previously. They used bolt cutters to cut off the padlock on the gate and took all evidence with them.
