Bike Description

The bike has been restored over a period of 8 years, the photos that I will attach show the attention to detail that has gone into the restoration. The tail section is in black and the current red petrol tank with the standard GS550 decals is a temporary solution as the original black petrol tank is being restored. The bike has a Motad 4 into 1 exhaust system, original period ribbed Suzuki seat, grab rail. The front end has new forks and calliper assemblies. The tyres are Avon Road Runners, also has period chrome engine protection bars. New handlebars and associated switches. The engine is polished and has the original metal Suzuki badges on the alternator and contact breaker covers. New ignition coils, points and plugs has just been fitted. The bike is standard apart from the Motad exhaust system.

Theft Description

The bike was parked outside my friend house around 19:00 on the 8th April, the two people that took the bike have been captured on video which has been submitted to the police. There were two of them all dressed in black and they pushed it up the road and the second guy on a small black motorcycle pushed it in the direction of Lancaster Road. They have been seen riding the bike down Meadowgate Road, the Total Road turning into Kennedy Road around Langworthy in Salford. There are many people looking for both the two dress all in black like ninjas. The bike has taken me 8 years to restore, I am a pensioner and live on my state pension. So offering a £500 reward to get the bike back is a big outlay for me - so any help in recovering this will be appreciated.
