Parked on front drive in a slightly different position to normal as I was getting my trailer ready to go out the next day. The bike's steering lock mechanism was on. It was there one moment and gone the next.Recovery Description
The police called me on 27 August 2023 to say that the bike had been found in my local area. It had been taken to the police agent pound some 20 miles away. So I went and picked it up in my trailer on 30 August 2023 and brought it home. The box is missing off the back. The rest of the back looks OK. The key ignition no longer works and the plastic frame is hanging off at the front. Also there are wires hanging out at the front. I will have a think over the next few days as to whether to get a quote for repair or scrap the bike. If I do get a new bike, it will be put in to Fort Knox mode with numerous security devices!
