Is my data safe?
Yes, our website uses 256-bit encryption. We are hosted with one of the UK’s most reliable hosts using a highly resilient network and server infrastructure. We also use technology to limit the IP addresses which can access the administrative areas of the site.
If give you my postcode is my bike safe?
Yes, we won’t share your location data with anyone. However we understand why you may be concerned. There are over 23.7 million dwellings in the UK and 1.7 million postcodes, meaning there are on average, 14 dwellings per postcode. If you live in a rural location and are worried that your postcode is a risk, please use this site to choose a different postcode and then widen your alert area to cover your location.
Why do you need my mobile number?
Currently when a motorcycle or scooter is added our stolen motorcycle database, we will email you an alert. However in the near future we will be launching SMS alerts and so we’re giving users the option to add their mobile number now, so that the SMS alerts will be sent to them when this functionality is live.
Can I stop getting alerts?
Yes. Just visit your dashboard once you have signed up and turn off alerts. You can turn them back on at any time.
